British Columbia’s creative industries experienced an intense and challenging year in 2020/21 due to the destabilizing effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Like all industries globally, the impacts have been nuanced, ranging from disruption to devastation, and in some cases they are still ongoing. FY2020/21 Impacts

• completed 348 tax credit certifications
• supported $3.1B production spending (117/$370M FIBC and 231/$2.7B PSTC)
